SKINWAY Dermatology Clinic was established in the year 2012 by Dr. Lovelyn H. Daet in the quiet neighborhood of New Manila, Quezon City. She started with a small clinic that caters to the New Manila community giving personalized affordable dermatology treatment.
Dr. Lovelyn was a caring and compassionate dermatologist. Because of word of mouth and referrals, her patients grew in number. She has patients from all walks of life. Those that came from nearby provinces, despite the distance and traffic will drive their way to avail of her services.
On October 2017, she decided to expand her clinic and relocated to Tomas Morato, Quezon City area to make the clinic more accessible and at the same time be near to where she started.
The pandemic didn’t hinder the clinic to continue providing its services. Through an online platform, consultation is easily accessible to patients who need dermatology advise.
With more than a decade serving patients, we continuously innovate by providing quality, affordable and effective treatments and skin solutions to everyone.
Our founder and owner obtained her medical degree from Far Eastern University- Dr. Nicanor Reyes Memorial Medical Foundation. She took her 3- year dermatology residency training at Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Foundation, one of the accredited institutions of the Philippine Dermatological Society.
She underwent fellowship training in Dermatologic Laser Surgery at Ramathibodi Hospital, Bangkok Thailand last 2015. She was lucky enough to observe well-known dermatologists in their respective clinics in Bangkok like Dr. Atchima Suwnachinda and Dr. Nantapat Suphapannachart.
Dermatology is my first love. Back in our medical school years, we don’t have proper training in dermatology, so I was challenged to learn more, so I can diagnose skin diseases. Dermatology may sound superficial but it covers a lot from acne, pigmentation problems, scars to allergic reaction, bacterial infections, and a lot more. A real dermatologist must be able to recognize complex skin lesions or diseases. Learning dermatology and giving skin solutions that are visible to patient’s eyes is a very rewarding and fulfilling aspect of my practice. The effect is something that can be felt, can be seen and can give huge impact on patient’s lives.
